Paste the code into the head or body of your page, or into a custom HTML block. Always test the result with Google Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator before you publish.
What is schema markup?
Schema markup is structured data, usually written as JSON-LD, that tells search engines what a page is about. It can make a page eligible for rich results such as breadcrumbs or video thumbnails.
How to use the generator
Choose a schema type, fill in the fields and copy the code. Paste it into the head or body of the page it describes. In WordPress you can use a custom HTML block, or the schema options in your SEO plugin.
Test before you publish
Run your page through Google Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator. Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a small set of authoritative sites, but FAQ markup can still help describe the page.
FAQ
Schema is not a direct ranking factor. It helps search engines understand your page and can make it eligible for rich results.
Google recommends JSON-LD, which is what this tool creates.
