Who we are
Inside AI (insideaiweekly.com, “we”, “us”) publishes free AI and SEO tools that run in your web browser. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we handle, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. For the cookies we use, see our Cookie Policy. You can reach us through the Contact page.
The short version
- The text you type or paste into our tools is processed in your browser. It is not sent to our servers and we do not store it.
- We do not require an account and we do not sell your personal information for money.
- Cookies and scripts for analytics and advertising are off until you agree. You can say no and change your mind at any time.
- Some pages may show ads (Google AdSense) and affiliate links. We explain both below.
Text you enter into our tools
Our tools (token counter, text cleaner, generators and checkers) work with JavaScript inside your browser. What you enter stays on your device unless you copy it somewhere yourself. Please do not enter passwords, payment details or other secrets into any online tool, including ours.
Information we collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Logs are kept for a limited period set by the host.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use them only to reply to you and to improve the site, and we keep them only as long as needed to deal with your message.
Your cookie choice. When you accept or reject cookies, we store your choice in a first-party cookie called ia_consent for up to 6 months. To be able to show that a choice was made, we also keep an anonymous record containing a random ID, your choices, the policy version and the time. It does not contain your IP address, name or email address, and it is deleted after about 13 months.
Analytics and advertising data. Only if you accept the matching category, the services described below may collect your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed and similar usage data through cookies or similar technologies.
Cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary cookies (such as the one that remembers your cookie choice) are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you opt in through the banner or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. The full list is in the Cookie Policy.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We use, or may start using, Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to people based on their visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Advertising cookies are used only if you accept the Advertising category.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors’ personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads shown on this site may be non-personalized or limited.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we think are useful, and a commission does not change how our own tools work. Affiliate partners may set their own cookies when you visit their sites; their privacy policies apply there.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which tools and pages are used. It is loaded only after you accept the Analytics category. You can opt out at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or with Google’s browser add-on.
Who receives your information
- Hostinger, our web hosting provider, which processes server logs and stores the site data on our behalf.
- Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC), if you accept advertising or analytics cookies.
- Affiliate and advertising partners, only when you click their links or accept advertising cookies.
- Authorities or advisers, if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Where advertising cookies share data with ad partners for personalized ads, some laws (for example California’s) call that “sharing”. You control it with the cookie banner and the “Cookie settings” link.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Consent for analytics and advertising cookies and similar technologies. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing does not affect earlier processing.
- Legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, keeping the site running and answering your messages.
- Legal obligation where we must keep or disclose information by law.
Your rights
Everyone. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings”. Contact us through the Contact page and we will reply within one month (45 days for California requests, extendable where the law allows).
EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR). You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
California and other US states (CCPA/CPRA and similar laws). You have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of advertising, and you can use “Cookie settings” (Your privacy choices) at any time.
Brazil (LGPD) and other countries. You have the rights your local law gives you, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion and revocation of consent. Use the Contact page to exercise them.
How long we keep information
- Cookie choice cookie: up to 6 months.
- Anonymous consent record: about 13 months.
- Messages from the contact form: only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Server logs: for the period set by our host.
- Analytics and advertising data: according to the settings and policies of Google and our partners.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we limit access to the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects how we use cookies, we will ask for your choice again.
