Why AI text needs cleaning
Chatbots format answers with markdown, so when you paste them into an email, a document or a CMS you get stray asterisks, hash signs and backticks. They also tend to use long dashes, curly quotes and sometimes invisible characters that cause odd spacing or break forms and code.
What this cleaner can fix
It can strip markdown headings, bold, italics, code marks, quotes and divider lines, remove list bullet symbols, turn markdown links into plain text, replace em dashes, straighten curly quotes, remove emoji and hidden characters, and tidy extra spaces and blank lines. Each option can be switched on or off.
Will it change my meaning?
No. It only changes symbols and spacing, not your words. Read the result once before you publish it, especially if you turned on em dash replacement, because a comma or hyphen does not always read the way the dash did.
