How to split a PDF
Add your PDF and choose how to split it. Extract pages creates one new PDF that contains only the pages you list, for example 1-3, 5, 8-. Split into single pages makes one file per page, and Split every N pages cuts the document into equal parts. When more than one file is produced they are bundled into a ZIP.
Page range examples
Type page numbers separated by commas, and use a dash for a range. 1-3 takes the first three pages. 2,4,6 takes those three pages. 5- takes page 5 to the end. 1-3,10-12 takes two blocks. The pages come out in the order you type them, so 3,1,2 also reorders them.
Common uses
Pulling a single invoice out of a long statement, sending only the signed page of a contract, splitting a scanned stack into separate documents, or removing a cover page. For the opposite job, joining files, use our PDF merger.
Your documents stay on your device
The PDF is read and cut up in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, which matters for contracts, IDs and financial papers, and there are no page or file-size caps from a server.
