How to merge PDF files

Add two or more PDF files, put them in the order you want with the Up and Down buttons and press Merge PDFs. The pages are joined in that order into a single document that downloads straight away. You can see the page count of each file before you merge.

Why a browser-based merger is safer

PDFs often hold contracts, invoices, IDs and other private papers. Most online mergers upload your files to a server. This one does not: the files are read and combined on your own device, so nothing is sent anywhere and there are no daily limits or page caps.

Tips

  • Merge in the final order. It is easier to reorder the list than to fix the finished document.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password in the program that created the file first.
  • If the combined file is too big to email, run it through our PDF compressor afterwards.
  • To pull pages back out of a merged file, use the PDF splitter.
